I thought it might be a good idea to say something about myself.
My family and I live in the beautiful state of Alaska. I am a poet of 3 books.
My background is my dad joined the Air Force when I was 1 year old. I grew up as the world for my backyard. My mom taught my brothers and me to read and write. She would take us to the library at least once a week to pick out books to read. As these skills got stronger. I started writing my own stories. My grandmother has written in a journal for about 80 years and reads and writes.
I got married, had kids and continued to write. Now I have written and published three books of poetry so far, and I am currently working on my 4th book of poetry.
I enjoy writing, reading, journaling, blogging and social media. I have kept up a journal for over 30 years.
I am a positive social person with an encouraging heart, so my writing brings hope, beauty, and
encouragement to the ordinary life through the words I write.
