Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
A few days ago, I told you about a concert that I went to where they sang a gospel song about counting your blessings instead of sheep. I explained that I tried it that night and it worked like a charm. I am here to tell you that I now have added that to my nightly routine and my mind shuts off and goes to sleep. I have had a couple of nights where (I) thought it was not going to work; however, I woke up at my alarm wondering when I fell asleep. I still sit on the edge of my bed and give thanks. I still sit on the edge of my bed and ask for guidance and pray for those I know are in need of prayer. Then after I am snuggled into my bed, in my most comfy spot, I start listing what I have been blessed with. Busy exits the body and the body falls right to sleep. If you have not tried it…you need to.
Yesterday I went for a walk on one of the trails near my office. I used to walk it all the time, however … Any way, I decided to do a live video as walked through God’s glory. I shared the trail on my video and discussed the upcoming book signing on Saturday, plus… a few items on my heart.
A few months ago, I was asked to start doing videos. I did a few but they kind of fell by the wayside. For the last few weeks, My spirit has been urging me to go for a walk and just talk to the people. That was too much like exercise and my foot hurt and this and that … so I did not do it. Yesterday I quit arguing with God and took a walk. It felt fantastic. I do believe the birds were upset with me for disturbing their peace though.
Not only did I talk about the upcoming book signing, I discussed how the theater is the most influential church in America, how the evil in the world is the absence of God and that we must walk through the darkness to get to the Light…all the time enjoying the creation and presence of God.
In the video I explained that I do believe that we are closing in on the end times and that I am tired of being on the fence. I have chosen the side of heaven. I will spread the Word in love and grace. I will share His love with whomever will receive it. I will discuss this world and its nonsense … and how it can be navigated successfully. I will not press or push, but I will be honest and forthright … Truth and Love is how we navigate this evil world and that brings us to Peace.
In the past few days I have had a few internal conversations about different thoughts and ideas and actions that I have taken. Some are okay, others not so much. Many items that have been brought to light were fence items or straddling the line items. My prayer for myself today is to pick His side and stay there. I must remember that we are the only bible that many see, and we need to represent properly. That does not mean rainbows and unicorns but down and dirty perseverance in His love and grace.
It sounds cold outside. Dress warm. Be prepared. Enter the gladiator’s arena of the cold to bring in the warmth of the Son.
