*HATED FOR THE GOSPEL SAKE (PART 1).*

John 15:18 (KJV)....... *If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.*

Our theme scripture is showing us that there are no new experiences as related to the things we suffer for the gospel's sake. When it comes to the things we should suffer for the gospel's sake, Christ Jesus must have the pre-eminence of all things. Meaning that you and I can’t suffer anything for the sake of the gospel that Jesus himself did not suffer.

Colossians 1:18 (KJV)...... *And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that IN ALL THINGS HE MIGHT HAVE THE PREEMINENCE.*

2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV)..... *Yea, and ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.*

Amidst the many persecutions, we shall all suffer for the sake of Christ and the gospel. One of them is that *WE SHALL BE HATED* by the world. Hatred from the world for the sake of the gospel is normal. Don’t pray against it because Jesus will not answer you.

For the fact that you are for Jesus and the gospel, there are people who will not treat you well. The earlier you know this and start building yourself on this, the better for you.

Loving father, I thank you for the truth of your word. I thank you for the knowledge it brings to my spirit and the strength it adds to me. I rejoice daily for the truth of your word. Amen.
