*DON’T SIT IN THE DARK* .
Matthew 4:16 (MSG)..... *People sitting out their lives in the dark saw a huge light; Sitting in that dark, dark country of death, they watched the sun come up.*
Darkness is the domicile of the devil. Darkness is the atmosphere he creates and brings with him everywhere he goes. Ignorance also excites the devil. He doesn’t want you to know the truth or find out the truth.
Any evil you can imagine is created in the atmosphere of darkness. Darkness creates fear, and people are scared of darkness. This is why any time God shows up in the Bible, the first thing he says is, “Fear not,” and that comes with an amount of light.
Child of God, do you know one of the synonyms for the word darkness is ignorance? This is why God is telling you and I today not to sit in the dark. To not sit in the dark means you refuse to be ignorant of God’s words and principles. It is to be enlightened, i.e., to carry light, to be knowledgeable. This is your only source of escape in this world.
You will only escape the corruption in the world if you have light. Therefore, receive light in Jesus name. Amen.

The Lord is my light and my salvation. I am forever his child and I do not walk in darkness because I have in me the light of life. And because of that, I do not suffer pain or rejection in Jesus name. Amen.
