*NOT PART OF HIS NATURE.*
Job 2:10 (KJV)..... *But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.*
After a person has received Christ into his or her life and is now part of God’s kingdom, it is now important for the person to start feeding on God, especially the area that teaches him or her a lot about THE NATURE OF GOD.
The lack of this knowledge is the major reason for the many troubles we see and hear of in the body of Christ. A good example is what our theme scripture is revealing to us. If you find a believer who is running his Christian life with this revelation from the lips of Job, the person will always have what we call “the ups and downs experience of life.”.
How can Job claim that both good and evil proceeds from God? When you study the nature of God according to what the scripture revealed, you will see that this kind of revelation is not consistent with his nature.
So, the believer in Christ ought to reject this kind of message.
James 3:11 (AMPC....... *Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter?*
The fresh water signifies the good from the Lord, and the bitter water signifies the evil. But he is asking, Can both be coming from the same mountain? The answer is No. So, don’t accept any revelation that is not consistent with the nature of God. Be wise.
Prayer:
Oh, how I am grateful for your word. I thank you for sending it to me and for it to nourish my spirit and bring me light. With this light now in my spirit, I win every battle before me today in Jesus name. Amen.
Bible Reference: James 3:1-15 (AMP), John 1:1-4.
