💖 OUR STORY: Bling Bling Irene Cancer Foundation 💖 “Everyone has been touched by cancer” in some way. Our journey began in 2006 when my mom, Irene, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The news shook my brother and me, but we chose to support her with positivity and prayer. After numerous treatments, in 2008, mom claimed she was “cancer free,” a hopeful yet bittersweet moment for us. Tragically, she lost her battle on May 7, 2008, just after my daughter’s 21st birthday. Inspired by her enduring hope, I knew I had to honor her legacy. Thus, the Bling Bling Irene Cancer Foundation was born, aimed at supporting others facing similar challenges. In October 2022, during a pivotal retreat in Paris, the vision for this foundation emerged, thanks to the encouragement of compassionate friends.
