*HATED FOR THE GOSPEL’S SAKE (PART 4).*

John 17:14 (KJV)..... *I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.*

The Christ that you and I believe in and are following while on earth was not of the world. And for that, he was hated. Why then do you think your testimony will be different? I see a lot of madness among many believers today.

We have to be accepted by the world. We don’t want to be hated by the world. We want to be in Christ and still be in the world, and this does not work that way. It is the reason a believer wants to dress like people of the world, talk like people of the world, go to where they go, act like them, or dance like them. We don’t want to be different from the world.

How can we not be different? How can the world not hate us? They will hate our giving lifestyle, and they will call it a scam. They will hate our all-night meetings and crusades, and they will call us jobless people. They will hate our service to God in church and call it laziness and brainwashing. All these and many more they will do to you because of the gospel.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for this truth. I thank you for opening my eyes to the sacrifice of believing and working for you. I am ready to be sacrificed for you and for the gospel in Jesus name. Amen.
