*WHERE IS MY HONOUR?*
Malachi 1:6 (KJV)...... *A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?*
One way we honour the Lord is to honour his servants sent to us. Do you know that to dishonour a man of God is to dishonour God? I know that there are some men and women of God who have lost their place and walk with God and are not right with God’s people, but what about the right ones?
I know people in ministry today who do not regard me in their hearts as a father but as a servant of God. But even at that, where is my honour? Because our theme scripture reveals the two names: “As a father and as a servant.” Whichever you take your man of God to be, you should honour him.
Ask yourself this question: With this, my attitude towards my man of God, does it honour him or her? If God promotes men by the honour they give to their men and women of God, do I stand a chance? If you judge yourself, you will not be judged.
Prayer:
Oh father, I ask for your mercy and help point me to the right way of your honour from today in Jesus name. Amen.
