REST
Thank You, Lord, for showing me the Way
And, after working for Thee all day
I know, truly, Lord, I will be blest
When I shall enter into Thy rest.

But some, Lord, want to live without You
They've found their own way to see them through
Surely, Lord, as they seek their own quest
They shall not enter into Thy rest.

I journey along Your chosen trail
Keep me aright. Let not my feet fail
For, I move along at Thy behest
Allow me, Lord, to enjoy Thy rest.

And, for all my brothers in the Lord
Who worship with me in one accord
Let us be, Lord, Your eternal guests
As we enter, Lord, into Your rest.

You set the example for all of us
We have no reason to fume or fuss
As long as we, through You, do our best
Let us enter, Lord, into Thy rest.

So, when it is time for me to die
And I rise to meet You in the sky
To hear these words, Lord, is my request
"Enter into the joy of My rest."
