Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

I must say that I was quite shocked last night while we were watching out ‘slutty doctor’ show. The message was very clear and we are watching this message at the most applicable time of the year.

Quick synopsis, doctor is pregnant but there is a problem with the baby. Lots of tears later, realizing that the baby will not survive to term and will most likely die quickly after birth, they decide to do an early birth so that the parents (doctors couple) can hold their child, the child be baptized, and love their child for the time that they have with the child. As the mom doctor is signing the consent forms and everything, a wave of potential miracle possibility smashes into her and she shoves the paperwork away. In a normal day, she would be running their trauma center, so she went down to the trauma area to clear her head. In the midst of that chaos, she found a woman who was in a similar situation, but it was she had just lost her fiancé, and that lady was struggling with the ‘why’. Pregnant lady doc embraces her, and they share a moment with God healing together in the moment.

In another part of the hospital a woman who was not supposed to be able to have children was admitted for emergency surgery but when they went to do the surgery, they found that she was indeed pregnant and giving birth right now. When she and her husband found out that they could not have kids, they decided to truly live and have fun. This time landed them in the hospital with accidental gunshot wounds and now a child they could only dream for.

In both cases God was truly at work. The first part was of a faithful woman struggling with the ‘fairness’ of it all. Why is this happening to (me)? What did I do wrong that this is happening to me? It’s not fair. But with her questioning, her struggle, her pain of no control to fix it, she was able to take her experience and minister another soul with more empathy and sympathy and show Christ’s love. In the process of all that, her husband (who is not a believer) went to Him for help. (baby steps).

These are but two of the scenarios that were presented, and I believe that they were two of the most powerful points, especially in this season we are in as a world. Christmas.

Christ came to earth as a human so that he could feel our pain and suffering. He loved us despite ourselves and lived among us. Then because of his love for us, He volunteered to die for us.

When we are in a ‘season’ of issues that seem to be overwhelming, remember that He came freely to show you that there is someone who cares and will always be there. I urge you to seek Him first in this Christmas season and feel his presence wrapping his arms around you. Do not fret but embrace true love. Trust me, he is good to lay your head on his chest and heart the beat of his heart … for you.

Be blessed today my friends.

***And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. – 1 Corinthians13:13
