Heavenly Father, On this Tuesday Christmas Eve morning, we come before you as a family to thank you for your goodness and love in our lives. As we prepare to celebrate the birth of your son, Jesus Christ, we ask for your presence and guidance in our family prayer.

We pray for those who are feeling the weight of loss during this holiday season. We know that grief can be especially difficult during this time of year. Comfort them, Lord, and give them peace in their hearts. Remind them that you are with them and that their loved ones are now in your loving embrace.

We also lift up those who are struggling with feelings of sadness and loneliness due to the loss of a loved one. Help them to find strength and courage in you, knowing that you are the ultimate source of comfort and hope.

As we gather as a family, may our bond be strengthened and our love for one another be renewed. May we be a source of comfort and support for those who are hurting.

We thank you, Father, for the precious gift of family and for the promise of eternal life through your son, Jesus. May we always remember to hold onto hope and trust in your unfailing love.
