Psalms 100:1-5 (KJV) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Music a form of worship
Music forms a part of God's worship in the courts above, and we should endeavor, in our song and praise, to sproch as nearly as possible to the harmony of the heavenly choirs. The proper training of the voice is an important feature in education and should not be neglected. Singing as a part of a act of religious service, is as much an act of worship as is prayer. The heart must feel the spirit of the song to give it right expression.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
