Joel 1:1-2 In Detail RSV

Numbers 10:1-6 The LORD said to Moses,
"Make two silver trumpets; of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation, and for breaking camp.
And when both are blown, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the tribes of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.
When you blow an alarm, the camps that are on the east side shall set out.
And when you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that are on the south side shall set out. An alarm is to be blown whenever they are to set out.
Obadiah 15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you, your deeds shall return on your own head.
Amos 5:18-20 Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! Why would you have the day of the LORD? It is darkness, and not light;
as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned with his hand against the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?
Daniel 9:12 He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against our rulers who ruled us, by bringing upon us a great calamity; for under the whole heaven there has not been done the like of what has been done against Jerusalem.
Isaiah 51:3 For the LORD will comfort Zion; he will comfort all her waste places, and will make her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song.
Zechariah 7:13-14 As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear," says the LORD of hosts,
"and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land they left was desolate, so that no one went to and fro, and the pleasant land was made desolate."
Revelation 9:6-10 And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death will fly from them.
In appearance the locusts were like horses arrayed for battle; on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces,
their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth;
they had scales like iron breastplates, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle.
They have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power of hurting men for five months lies in their tails.
