“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
Have you been praying for something but it seems as if nothing is happening? It can be tempting to be discouraged when your prayers seem unanswered. But the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. This means we pray and don’t stop praying until something happens. This is what we call faith in action (Hebrews 11:1).
Praying is not a one-time event in our lives. Praying to God is a lifestyle because it is our daily communion with Him. We don’t pray only because we need something from Him, but we pray because we have a relationship with the Father! And through prayer, our relationship with God deepens each day! Pray without ceasing!
Heavenly Father, thank You, for You are an approachable God. We can reach out to You through prayer anytime and anywhere. Thank You for always answering us even if nothing is currently happening. You are doing something in Jesus' name. Amen!
