THE GOD OF YESTERDAY, IS THE SAME GOD TODAY. TRUST IN HIM.

In today’s perilous times, when uncertainty, fear, and chaos dominate our world, we are reminded of the limitless power and faithfulness of our God.

The same God who delivered Daniel from the lions' den, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me” (Daniel 6:22), and parted the Red Sea so Moses and the Israelites could walk on dry ground (Exodus 14:21-22), is still at work today. He is the God who caused the sun to stand still for Joshua, granting victory in battle (Joshua 10:12-13), and who opened the prison doors for Peter, freeing him from the hand of Herod (Acts 12:7-10).

He fulfilled His promise to Sarah, bringing forth Isaac in her old age, proving that nothing is too hard for the Lord (Genesis 21:1-2). Even death was no obstacle for Him as He raised Lazarus after four days in the grave, declaring, “I am the resurrection, and the life” (John 11:43-44, John 11:25).

In these troubling days, when we see the fulfillment of 2 Timothy 3:1-5, where men are described as “lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,” we must hold fast to our faith.

Romans 8:31 asks us, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” reminding us that God’s power is unmatched, and His love is eternal. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

As believers, we must trust Him in all circumstances, casting all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Whatever challenges you are facing, remember that the God who performed miracles in the past is still in control today. Stand firm in faith, knowing that He will provide, protect, and guide you through every storm. Let His power and promises be your strength and refuge.

One of my older favorite songs is by the McKamey's, (A Southern Gospel, family group) is called " The God on the mountain", the main lyrics are, "The God on the mountain, is still God in the valley, The God of the good time's, is still God in the bad".

Always remember, that God of yesterday, is still the same God today, tomorrow, and forever.
