*DON’T ABUSE PRAYERS.*
Matthew 6:5 (KJV)...... *And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.*
Child of God, prayer is good, but prayer does not solve all problems. We live in a time where almost all the principles of the kingdom of God have been abused by believers. Prayers have been abused too. This means of fellowship given to us by our heavenly father has been abused too.
Prayer is supposed to be a means of fellowship. Which means you can be in this fellowship while you are doing other things or you are involved in the act of doing other things.
What do we have today? A bunch of believers who are lazy but claim to be prayer warriors. Some people claim to be praying so just they can avoid running errands or being responsible at work.
Prayers shouldn’t take the place of work. If you can’t work, then you shouldn’t eat. That is what the Bible says, and you shouldn’t use your prayers to cover up. This is why families have lost faith in some believers; sisters have lost faith in our God because we claim to pray but can’t pay bills, and we want to pray over everything, neglecting the voice of wisdom. This abuse must stop.
Prayer:
Ask God to forgive you and pray in the Spirit for 5 minutes now.
