One of the escape routes the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ affords is the blood of the new covenant. The blood of Jesus is God's last card for the last days. It is our escape route in this dark world. In Isaiah 60:2, the Bible says, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." The Lord arises upon His people at the application of the blood. Remember what happened after the blood was issued as the last card in Egypt? God arose upon His people and for His people and Pharaoh had no choice but to let God's people go. Only by the blood of Jesus will God's people prevail and become victorious over satan, the accuser of the brethren. Revelation 12:10-11 talks about how satan, the accuser of the brethren, was cast down and defeated by the blood of the Lamb, "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
How do we use the blood to claim our victory? We claim our victory with the blood by applying it through the confession of our mouth. Notice the scripture we read above that they overcame by the word of their testimony. That is, by pleading the blood of Jesus. Wherever the blood is pleaded, satan flees. Wherever the blood is pleaded, demons and principalities are expelled. Wherever the blood is pleaded, confusion and depression disappears. Before you go out daily, plead the blood over your day and satan will never attempt to interfere with your day. The best way to deal with the devil over any circumstance of your life is by the blood. That is what makes us more than conquerors.
