When you think about it, toddlers aren’t expected to care about others. Children in this stage are all about recognizing and discovering themselves. A toddler also does and says things that are insensitive, whether it hurts or not, which is why a parent's guidance and discipline are crucial in this stage. But as a child grows into a man or woman, they put away every childish thing they used to be when they were like flowers not yet done blooming.
In the same way, we also don’t stay babes in the Kingdom of God. The more we equip ourselves in God’s kingdom, the more we become like Christ and mature in our identity and calling. Beloved, may you grow and mature in your walk with the Father and glorify Him as you love and serve others in Christ Jesus!
Heavenly Father, thank You for guiding me always. Thank You for Your Word that stirs up my faith and spiritual maturity. May every childish way in me be revealed so that I may grow and choose to serve and glorify You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
