*IS IT LEGAL FOR A MAN TO DIVORCE HIS WIFE?*
Mark 10:2 (MSG)..... *Pharisees came up, intending to give him a hard time. They asked, “Is it legal for a man to divorce his wife?”*
It is true that there is nothing new in this world. We are still battling the same old demon and belief system. If they asked Christ this question over two thousand years ago, then it goes to show you how old the heart of man is when it comes to the issue of divorce.
The same question is still being asked today by the Pharisees. Anyone who asks this question falls into this category. Divorce is never a good thing. It is better to stay away from a marriage that intends to take your life than to be there and die in the name of trying to keep it.
But how did we get here?
It is better to remain single than marry someone you know you won’t live with for the rest of your life. Don’t just marry anybody you see; take your time to enquire of the Lord before you commit yourself to anybody. For this is one way you escape this madness called divorce that is eating the world.
