No matter how fast we are or how far we think we already are in our walk with the Lord, at some point in the journey, there is always weariness. Think of a car traveling a very long distance; it still needs to stop to rest, be refueled, and get checked out and maintained by the owner before it can be used again. There will be times that we also need to pause, slow down, and sometimes even stop and wait upon the Lord.
It is in the waiting that God is actually inviting us to get deeper with Him, have quality time with Him, hear His instructions, and be directed or redirected for the next season. That is why those who wait shall be renewed in strength! So, if you feel like you are stuck, waiting, or tired and weary, consider it an invitation to spend quality time with your Maker. Let Him fill you, empower you, and strengthen you!
