A Prayer for my Wife
Day 2

Father, I come to You in all humility with both palms up and ask that You show me anything that is coming between my wife and me that's preventing us from having unity of spirit. Help her to do the same, so that we will be one in the Spirit the way Your Word describes. Give us both the courage to be honest about anything that weighs on our hearts that creates a weak link in our bond. Give me patience—the same patience I know I want her to have with me. Give me a gentle spirit so that she feels safe and at ease to share anything with me that concerns her. Surround us; protect us both with Your peace—a peace that cannot be broken—so we will have the fullness of Your joy today. IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.
