The Christian life is not a playground but a battleground.
"for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12, KJV). Today, as we witness increasing moral decay, wars, natural disasters, and spiritual apathy (Matthew 24:6-12, KJV), it is evident that Satan is intensifying his efforts to blind and destroy.
Yet, God has equipped us with the whole armor of God's truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17, KJV) to withstand in these evil days. Jesus warned of perilous times before His return (2 Timothy 3:1-5, KJV) but also assured us of victory, saying, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world(John 16:33, KJV).
We are called to stand firm, pray always (Ephesians 6:18, KJV), and live as lights in the darkness, sharing the gospel of Christ until He comes again in power and glory (Matthew 5:14-16; Revelation 19:11-16, KJV). Therefore, let us be vigilant and committed soldiers in this spiritual warfare, pressing forward to the eternal victory promised in Jesus Christ.
