Simple but very valuable

Because of its simplicity the parable of the sower has not been valued as it should be. From the natural seed from the soil,Christ desires to lead our minds to the gospel seed, the sowing which ruselts in our bringing men back to his loyalty.

Counting the cost

"The seed is the word of God. "..... As the birds are ready to catch up the seed from the wayside, so Satan is ready to catch away the seeds of devinetruth from the soul.....
It is not because men receive the word imediately, or nor bacuse the rejoice in it, that they fall away...... But these in the parable are said to receive the word imediately, do not count the cost.
