They show little concern for communion with Him or for His honor and glory. Instead, their affections are rooted in worldly pursuits and material desires. They have turned religion into a means for their own secular ends, mistakenly believing that financial gain equates to godliness. They seek the approval of others and are satisfied with mere physical displays of worship, neglecting the importance of true internal faith and powerful devotion.
