IN COMPANY WITH GOD,

Adam and Eve explored their paradise home.

Please share this lesson with your family, friends, Facebook pages, and all who you can, for the expansion of the Kingdom of GOD.

The landscape was wonderful, indescribable, As the sun slowly set on that first Friday, the sixth day of creation, and the stars began to shine, “God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good” (Gen. 1:31). . In this way, God completed His creation of “the Heavens and the Earth, and all the host of them” (Gen. 2:1).

But while it is true that the world that God had just completed was incomparably beautiful, the greatest gift that the Creator could bestow upon the newly created couple, was the privilege of maintaining a personal communion, and fellowship with Him.

That is why he gave them the Seventh Day Sabbath, a special day of blessing, camaraderie and communion with their Creator.

Today the Seventh Day Sabbath occupies a central place in our worship of God. As a reminder of creation, it reveals the reason why God should receive our worship: He is the Creator, and we are His creatures.

“Therefore, the Seventh Day Sabbath forms a part of the very foundation of divine worship, inasmuch as it teaches this great truth in the most impressive manner, which no other institution does.

The true reason for the worship of God, not only for that which is paid to Him on the Seventh Day, but for all worship, is found in the distinction that exists between the Creator and His creatures.

This outstanding fact can never become obsolete, and must never be forgotten.” God instituted the Seventh Day Sabbath in order to keep this truth before the human race forever.
