Judgement Day.

The reality of Judgment Day is undeniable to those who study the Scriptures. Its certainty is etched across the pages of prophecy, echoed in the teachings of Jesus, and underscored by the apostles.

However, the timing and nature of this judgment often spark uncertainty. Revelation 14:7 proclaims: “Fear God and give Him glory, for the hour of His judgment has come” (Revelation 14:7).

Yet this profound announcement is immediately followed by warnings from two additional angels—one urging everyone to come out of Babylon and the other warning everyone not to receive the mark of the beast (Revelation 14:8-12).

This sequence of events unmistakably reveals that the "hour of judgment" referred to here is not the climactic moment of final reward and punishment when the righteous are immortalized, and the wicked are destroyed.

Instead, it points to a distinct period of judgment that precedes the close of human probation—a time when the eternal destinies of individuals are being decided while mercy still lingers. The question is: how do we harmonize this pre-Advent judgment with the ongoing day of salvation?

The answer lies in the sanctuary. When God instructed Moses to construct the earthly tabernacle, He commanded him to make it after a divine pattern (Exodus 25:30; 26:30; 27:8; Hebrews 8:5).

This sanctuary, with its ceremonies and furniture, was a shadow of heavenly realities. John, in vision, describes the heavenly temple, with its altar of incense, Ark of the Covenant, and angelic ministers (Revelation 7:15; 11:19; 14:15, 17).

The psalmist and Isaiah also attest to God’s dwelling place in heaven (Psalm 11:4; Isaiah 6:1). Hebrews confirms that Christ serves as High Priest in the “greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands” (Hebrews 8:1–2).

The evidence pertaining to Christ's ministry in the heavenly sanctuary is overwhelming. But the enemy of righteousness does not want people to know what Christ is doing in the most holy place at the moment.

Thus he is busy spreading lies and falsehoods. Hence the loud voices saying " the law has been abolished," yet it is the standard of judgement against which everyone's life is being reviewed in the court of heaven.

So we hear the doctrine of the sanctuary being rubbished by many, yet Christ is making final atonement for sin in heaven. Watch out friends and find out for yourself what the bible says concerning the sanctuary.
