How fresh is your fruit?
This week I would like to look at the fruit of the spirit…
Let’s open the Word to Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The question today is how fresh is your fruit? We see in the above scripture what fruit a spirit filled believer should have.
When you have guest over and you setup a fruit basket for them you don’t put fruit in it that’s 6 month or a year old. You put in fruit that new and fresh. We are the same way, that Yahwah wants us to keep the fruit of the spirit in us fresh.
We need daily to…
LOVE others as Messiah loved us (1 John 4:11)
Have the JOY of Yahwah which is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10)
Have the PEACE that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7)
Be LONGSUFFERING with others just like Messiah was with us (Colossians 3:12)
Have GENTLENESS as servants of Yahwah (2 Timothy 2:24)
Have Goodness like what led us to repentance (Romans 2:4)
Have the FAITH to move mountains (Mark 11:22-23)
Have MEEKNESS as you tell people of the hope that lies within you (1 Peter 3:15)
Have TEMPERANCE as we strive for mastery (1 Corinthians 9:25)
May we keep the fruit of the spirit fresh in us.
