Father God, on this Thankful Thursday morning, we come before you with grateful hearts. Thank you for waking us up to see another day, for the breath in our lungs, and for the blessings in our lives. We are thankful for the restful sleep you have given us and for the safety of our homes. We are grateful for the food on our tables, the clothes on our backs, and the people in our lives who support and love us.

Forgive us, Lord, for the times when we have taken your blessings for granted and failed to express our gratitude. Help us to focus on the good in our lives and to be content with what we have. May we not compare ourselves to others, but instead, appreciate all that you have given us.

As we go about our day, may we be a light of gratitude to those around us. Help us to show kindness and love to others, just as you have shown to us. Give us a heart to serve and a spirit of gratitude in all that we do.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and provision. We lift up our voices in thanksgiving and praise to you. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
