Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

My husband and I have decided that we pick the most perfect days to take drives. Haha. The last three drive days have been absolutely gorgeous. As a matter of fact, as we drove south yesterday, the day just got more and more beautiful. The temperatures hit the 60s.

When we go on these drives, it accomplishes a couple of different things for us. One, it gets us out of the house. We love where we live but sometimes you just need a different view. Second, it gives us time alone. Yes, it is just the two of us at home now, but driving around sightseeing is far different than sitting in the front room. Conversation starters are vastly more convenient. Rarely do we have a true destination and time frame, which creates a far more relaxed outing. Yesterday we decided that we wanted to have dinner in Kentucky with some friends. After assuring that they were not out on a drive somewhere, we came for pizza. Today I anticipate another smooth ride home and beautiful scenery as the weather ap shows friendly skies.

A couple of days ago I wrote about having the right people in your circle. The right people can move mountains that you did not even realize were there. The right people can adjust your frame of mind with a look. The right people will see through your smile and see the pain, they do not even have to say a word and you both are on the same page. The right people are necessary for peace of mine.

Strategically, God has placed my people around the world. You just never know when or where you will need your people. He has blessed me with loving, fun, sarcastic, and caring people. These people know me, a lot of the time, better than I know myself.

Yesterday’s drive was for us to get away and see something different, but it was also so that we could connect with some of our people. We both were heading in the wrong direction and needed a roundabout to get us back on track. We found that roundabout on our drive. Not only did we make it to our people, but we found people along the way. This has been a great short trip.

When you find yourself leaning in the wrong direction, do not try the “pull yourself up” routine. Find your people circle and lean in on them. You do not have to divulge your story, just enjoy their presence, their personality, their honesty, and purity of heart. God placed certain people in our lives just for this purpose. His gift to us for our earthly needs.

I am blessed, as I said, I have pockets of people all over the world. I pray that you have pockets of people placed around you so that when you need them most, they are there.

Take a moment today and think about your people pockets. Think about who God has placed in your life for a listening board, for a correction board, for a connection board. I think you will be amazed at those he has given you.

Be blessed today my friends.
