Are you dressed for the wedding?
One of the biggest weddings ever seen around the world…
It was the media event of the decade, and an estimated 750 million people watched it around the world on television.
(PP) Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana
The Prince Charles and DI’s wedding was on July 29th 1981.
On the day of the wedding, this was also declared a public holiday for everyone in Great Britain.
You might wonder why I’m starting my message off with that…
Can we say we are you’re ready for the marriage supper of the lamb?
Thus the title for my message for today “Are you dressed for the wedding?”
• Can you imagine If Prince Charles showed up at his wedding with a pair of sweat pants and t-shirt or if Lady Di showed up in a skirt and t-shirt?
• It is expected at a wedding for the bride and groom to be dressed for the wedding!
Revelations 19:7, 9
• Do you see that there? It says “his wife hath made herself ready”
• I say again are you ready for the marriage supper of the lamb?
Matthew 25:1-13
• Look at verses 11 & 12 (reread verses)
• Oh, I pray that Yahwah wouldn’t say that to us at judgment time. “I know you not.”
Matthew 22:11-14
Luke 14:16-24
Ephesians 4:24
Ephesians 4:29-32
Colossians 3:12-14
