1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Ephesians 5:1-2
Do you want to know how to please God? It’s really not hard at all to do, we simply must imitate Him.
Just as a small child imitates their mother and father we must do so too. For we are the children of God all because we believed in Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins. God the Father loves us more than a mother and father loves their children, it is only fitting that we be as our Father in heaven is.
Followers of Jesus know this for we are being transformed into His image to be more and more like Him everyday. We walk in love as Jesus does and others see this love light in us that comes forth when we meet them. They too desire to know what we know so we must tell them why we are so joyful and blessed. They need to know that they can also come to the Father’s love just as we did through Jesus.
So quit acting like a mere mortal and start acting like the child of God that you are. May our LORD Jesus bless you with more and more of Him in every aspect of your lives.
