Resposted: Morning friends. Have you ever thought about the fact that a tree grows in two directions at once…down into the soil and up toward the sky. The deeper the roots, the taller the reach. And so it is with our faith. Jeremiah 17:7-8 says, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.” When storms rage, it’s the hidden roots that keep a tree standing. In life’s trials, it’s our unseen time with God…our prayer, our study, our quiet trust, that keeps us steady. But we aren’t meant to just survive; we’re meant to grow! A tree that only reaches down will rot, and one that only stretches up will fall. We must be both deeply planted in God’s truth and boldly reaching toward His purpose. Dig deep. Rise high.
