1. GOD IS EVERLASTING.
Isaiah 40:28 " Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the Earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?
There is no searching of His Understanding. The existence of God is a MYSTERY which cannot be comprehended by the human mind.
God has always existed and He will continue to always exist, He has no beginning, He was not born and He was not created, He is the creator.
2. GOD CREATED All THINGS.
Contrary to evolution the predominant teaching about the origins of life in America, and even other schools around the world, God created us.
As a matter of fact the first verse in the Bible says GENESIS 1:1 " in the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth".
3. GOD IS OMNISCIENT.
It means all knowing. Psalm 147:5 " Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His Understanding is infinite". Not only does He understands all the mysteries of the universe He knows our works.
PROVERBS 15:3" The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and good". God knows the good and the bad that we do, He takes account of our actions and one day we will have to answer for them in judgement.
4. GOD NEVER CHANGES.
Malachi 3:6 "..For I am the Lord , I change not...." It is impossible for God to change , the influences that causes change in your life have no effect on God, He will never be stronger or weaker.
His knowledge and wisdom will not increase or diminish, God does not compromise or change his values, and God does not have mood swings.
Life and diversities may shake you, but, God, the rock of ages does not move, if you stick to Him, His strength will sustain you.
5. GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.
JEREMIAH 29:11 " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord , plans to propsper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".
God's plan, includes coming to know Jesus as your personal Lord and save you, empowering you to overcome your sins, and prepare you for his kingdom, and for witnessing to others.
6. GOD LOVES YOU.
JOHN 3:16 " For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that Whosoever, believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life".
Jesus died on the cross for our sins because we are all sinners worthy of death, The punishment of breaking God's law.
But God doesn't want us to die, so He sent Jesus to pay that penalty for us, so that we can be saved.
7. GOD'S MERCY IS LIMITLESS.
He is ready and willing to forgive you for any and all sins.
Lamentation 3:22-23 " it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion fails not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The only thing that we have to do, to receive forgiveness for our sins, is repent from them, and confess them to God in prayer in the name of Jesus.
8. GOD WANTS TO BE A PART OF YOUR LIFE.
God wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives , as a matter of fact He is so concerned with the affairs of our lives, that luke 12:7 says, that He knows the number of the hairs of our heads.
9. JESUS CHRIST IS GOD.
It may sound strange, because Jesus Christ is also called the son of God in the Bible, but, God is Trinity and Jesus is part of that Trinity, in fact Jesus has two natures divine and human.
The Divine Jesus has always existed.
Colossians 1:17 " He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together".
When Jesus took onto Himself a nature of man, and was born here on Earth, He was called the son of God, because He was born miraculously by the Virgin Mary by the power of God. Luke 1:35.
10. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD.
John 14:6" I am the way, the truth and the life , no man cometh unto the Father , but by Me".
There are many religions that claim you can come to God in many different ways, but there are not many roads that lead to the one true God.
There is only one road, and that road is JESUS CHRIST.
The reason is because Jesus is God . When He came down from Heaven to Earth 2000 years ago, He was God, reconciling the world to Himself (2 COR 5: 18-19), also He died on the cross for our sins, no other religion has a leader with those two characteristics.
