Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

For many years I sailed on the “I don’t need church” boat. Right beside the “going to church does not make me a Christian” boat and many other such boats in this club. Within the last year I have become a more constant at my home church. The church where I found Jesus in the first place. Now I do not attend every Sunday, but my consistency is growing. I tell you this for this point.

As I explained in yesterday’s post, I almost did not go this Sunday because “I was not ‘feeling’ well” and “I did not want to spread my germs.” Now both of those are valid (reasons) however, I sit far enough away from anyone that germs won’t carry and the ‘feeling’ was not the cold I am getting … it was an attack from the enemy because he knew I would get what I needed if I went to church … that is a refilling and refreshing of the Holy Spirit. I did not realize how badly I craved it until after the service and I was thanking God for moving my feet.

Last night was the first night of our woman’s bible study. The Attributes of God. Nearly every woman in my church was there. The love and bond that was present was breath taking. When I left the church last night … I was high. I was high on God. That is an addiction that I don’t want to ever lose.

My friends. Anxiety is no match for Him. Depression is no match for Him. Stress is no match for Him. There is nothing that He cannot handle or walk you through. I implore upon you to find yourself a church home with a solid curriculum of the Word of God and get plugged in. I will tell you it is awkward at first, but as you stand firm in your obedience to Him, the awkwardness goes away and only the Love remains. The awkward is the enemy trying to persuade you to leave because he knows that you will become a mighty warrior for the wrong team.

Be blessed today my friends.

*** But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33
