He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
—  Philippians 1:6

Thought Of The Day...
I remember a time when everything in my life seemed to be falling apart. I felt like a work in progress that had been abandoned. I began to doubt whether God’s promises would be fulfilled in my life.
Then my pastor Bishop Patricio Wilson taught a lesson from  Philippians 1:6. He shared how God had been faithful in his own life, bringing him through trials and unfinished projects to a place of fulfillment and purpose. His story gave me hope and renewed my faith in God’s ability to complete his work in me.
God is not like us; he does not leave things unfinished. When he starts a work in us, he is committed to see it through. The process of transformation and growth can be challenging and slow, but we can trust in God’s perfect timing and faithfulness.
In self-analysis, I see how God has been at work in my life, shaping me through both triumphs and trials. Every step, whether forward or seemingly backward, has been part of his plan to mold me into the person he created me to be.
Today let’s take comfort in knowing that God is faithful to complete the work he has started in us. No matter where we are in our journey, we can trust that God is working all things together for our good and to his glory.

Prayer...
Heavenly Father, we come before you with grateful hearts, knowing that you are a God who is faithful and true. We thank you for the promise in Philippians 1:6 that you will complete the good work you have started in us. Help us to trust in your timing and process, even when we may not understand it. We know that your plans for us are good and that you have a purpose for our lives.

Strengthen our faith, Lord. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on you and your promises. When we face challenges and doubts, remind us that you are with us, guiding us every step of the way. Give us the patience to wait for your perfect timing, and the courage to keep moving forward, even when things seem uncertain.

We thank you for your love and grace, and we surrender ourselves to your will. May your Holy Spirit work in us, transforming us into the image of your Son. We trust that you will continue to lead us and complete the good work you have begun in us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
