Episode 4 continued

Each time when I spoke the Lord would do something new for someone. It was thrilling to watch. Then came the day that I knew it was my last time I would be in and the Lord took a different approach. You remember how I said, I trust conservatively each time.

Well, this time I went in dressed in jeans, a T-shirt, and just a little jacket over it. I had in my hands, a document. When I walked in , I very quietly slipped my jacket off and hung it on the back of the chair. And this time did I ever get a lot of attention! I had never mentioned my past, and everybody sat up and took notice, because they now knew that I was one of them. Before that a lot of the toughest ladies had looked at me like I was “Miss Goody Goody”. And how did I know what they were going through? That day, I have the undivided attention of every eye in the room.

I had tattoos on both of my arms that were very visible, and I began to tell them my story. I talked to them of drug addiction, life on the streets, being incarcerated and a whole lot of other things that struck at the heart of the women. I was no longer on the other side of the fence, they knew I had not lived a great life.

This document I carried was done on fine white linen paper, around the edges of it was a very thin blood red line as a border, and on the bottom of it was an imprinted golden seal. This document was awas a very thin blood red line as a border, and on the bottom of it was an embossed golden seal. This document was a pardon from the Governor General of Canada. The Lord chose to use the document to explain to salvation to each of those hurting hearts.

The red border on the document represented the blood of Jesus shed on Calvary. The white fine linen paper represented how God saw them after the blood was applied in repentance. They were now as wide as snowThe gold seal showed that he was sealing them with the Holy Spirit . And he was offering salvation, signed, sealed, and delivered!

That day, although unlike Paul and Silas, the physical prison doors did not swing open wide, there were plenty of heart doors that swung open and received the invitation that the Lord extended. Mercy began rewriting lives.

Thank you for taking the time from your busy day to read my words and testimony to what the Lord has done in my life. There is more to come as the Lord leads. It will not necessarily be in sequential order as there’s been so much through the years. He is so faithful..
