When we wake up in the morning, what is the first thing we do? Do we thank God for giving us a new day? Do we ask him to order our steps? Do we say let your will be done or do we grab our phones and check social media, blast music full of profanity and nonsense or turn on the TV and watch the news and fill our mind with fear and negativity? If you would program a GPS for directions to a place that you have never been, do you follow the directions of the GPS or do you just drive and find yourself miles of course by going the wrong direction wasting valuable time? This is what we are doing when we just wake up and go without asking our Heavenly Father for directions. He sees the traps, he knows what is ahead. He knows what doors we should enter. If we start our day complaining and filling our minds with negativity and fear we have already set the day for failure and doubt. Let us all start thanking our God before our feet even touches the floor as we get out of our beds. Lets us ask our God to guide us and let his will be done before we walk out of our doors in the morning. How you start your day will dictate how it will end. What you invite in, is what you have welcomed.
