Trust God's Judgment
"Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments!" - Psalm 48:11
Trusting God’s judgment is not always easy. We like to feel in control, making our own decisions, and believing that we know best. But the truth is, your perspective is limited. You see life like a small television screen, focused on what is right in front of you, while God sees the full picture in high definition. His judgment is not just about right and wrong. It is about His plans, His wisdom, and His perfect will for your life.
The psalmist (in Psalm 48) reminds you that real joy and security come when you trust God’s judgment instead of relying on your own. Many of the struggles and frustrations in life are a result of leaning on your own understanding rather than submitting to His direction. You want financial freedom, but if you ignore His principles, you find yourself in debt. You want stronger relationships, but if you do not follow His way of love and forgiveness, they fall apart. You want peace, but if you resist His leadership, anxiety takes over.
God’s view is higher than yours. He sees beyond your setbacks, knowing they can be setups for something greater. What looks like a dead end to you might be a new beginning in His plan. When life does not go as expected, it is not because God is against you. It is because He sees what you cannot. His ways are higher, His plans are better, and His judgment is always right.
A teenager once lost his contact lens while playing basketball. He searched everywhere but could not find it. Frustrated, he told his mother. She walked outside and found it in two minutes. Shocked, he asked how she did it so fast. She smiled and said, "You were looking for a piece of plastic. I was looking for $150."
The difference was perspective. That is why you have to trust God. He is not just looking at what you see. He sees the full value, the real purpose, and the bigger picture. Stop stressing over what you cannot control and start trusting the One who can see what you cannot. When you do, you will find peace in knowing that His judgment is always leading you to something greater.
