Day 2: One key message from Genesis 4-7 is that faithfulness matters, even when the world around you is corrupt.
In these chapters, we see Cain rejecting God’s ways, while Abel’s faith is accepted. Later, humanity falls deeper into sin, but Noah remains faithful, walking with God despite living in a wicked generation. Because of Noah’s obedience and trust, God spares him and his family, using him to restart creation. God desires a relationship with those who remain faithful to Him, even when society strays from His ways. He sees and honors those who seek Him sincerely. It’s a reminder that following God often means standing apart from the world, but He is always present to guide and protect those who walk with Him.
