I heard something today that made me wonder.
The Knights Templar were baptized with their swords, which they held above the water while being submerged. They gave themselves over to God but not the sword that was used in things displeasing to God.
Was this proof the sword was an idol?
Did the knights not want to relinquish the sword for fear God would remove it?
Is there something in YOUR life you are holding above the water????
