"As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. " Ephesians 2:1-2

Imagine walking through life with the weight of a dead heart, bound by the chains of transgressions and sins. This was the reality of every born-again Christian before encountering the transformative power of Christ. In Ephesians 2:1-2, Paul reminds us of the stark contrast between our past and present lives. We were once dead in our sins, living in disobedience and following the ways of the world.

But through the grace of God, and only by His grace, we have been brought from death to life. We are no longer bound by our past transgressions; we are made alive in Christ. This transformation is a testament to God's incredible mercy and love.
As we reflect on our journey from death to life, let us be grateful for the new life we have in Christ. Let us live each day with the awareness that we are no longer defined by our past but by the grace that has set us free.
