Romans 8:31 (NIV) - "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Life is full of challenges—moments when we feel small against the giants we face. Whether it’s a difficult situation, a hard decision, or even inner doubts, it’s easy for us to feel outnumbered or overwhelmed. But Romans 8:31 reminds us of a truth that changes everything: God is for us.

Think about that—God, the Creator of the universe, the One who holds all power, is on your side. That thought often just blows my mind! Someone like me, with the past that I have and how sinful I have been in my life, God is for me! As I look back on my life, there are many times I probably should have been at the very least thrown in jail! But I know that God was protecting me! Why? His grace! There was nothing I could have ever done to deserve or earn His love, grace, mercy and protection, but He gave it to me anyway! With God as your defender, no enemy is too strong, no obstacle too great, and no situation too hopeless. It’s not because of our strength or ability. It’s not because we’re “good” people, (because we aren’t), but only because of His unshakable love and faithfulness.

Whatever you face today, take heart! Rest in the assurance that nothing can stand against you when God is with you. He is your refuge, your strength, and your victory!
