1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV - For the PREACHING of the CROSS is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are SAVED it is the POWER of God.
The preaching of the cross is the power to being SAVED, and the gospel is the POWER unto salvation. Being saved (called) in the beginning is EASY, all you had to do was CALL on the name the Lord. Receiving salvation (chosen) in the end is HARD and only a few people find it, you have to BORN AGAIN in holiness and righteousness and OBEY every WORD of God (Jesus). The JUST shall LIVE by FAITH, means to be faithful to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
