Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Do you ever feel like there are not enough minutes in a day? Like you are just running in circles and there is no exit to take so you may sit down?

I have those moments frequently. Sometimes they are amidst a chaotic set of changes that I am trying to remember and get right or … like yesterday … it came with a scheduled appointment change.

You might think that something that small should not cause a ripple in one’s peace. That they happen all the time for one reason or another. What is the big deal for a schedule change, just roll with it. Right?

Yesterday’s change was for a week when I had a clerk off, my other clerk was helping another office, and my appointments were an hour away. So the simple solution is to pull my clerk back, but then that leaves that office, who is already struggling and asked for help, high and dry…that is not how I operate if I can help, I help. Add to that, once I say I will help you, I will filp circles and donuts not to break my word. Fortunately, I was blessed with a brain that sees things that will make schedule changes work. However, yesterday, when I was told of the appointment change … I got mad. Sad part is that I was having a pretty good day, and the weather was beautiful. Good news is that I found a way. Bad news is I had a lot of apologies to give for my attitude.

I am not sure what exactly was going on that opened up my armor for me to lose my peace like that, but it happened. Once I secured my new schedule and notified all the people involved, I began my apologies. When I got home, my husband and I sat and had an evening talk where I concluded my human apologies. At bedtime, I apologized to God for losing my temper. For the record, I slept like a baby, and I woke up to ‘you are a child of God’ running through my head.

WE all have those moments when it feels like we do not have enough time or the world is against us, but … When God is for us, who can be against us? There has never been a more true statement. God is for us so much that he gave his son to set us free.

My friends, you will have days like I had yesterday. Beautiful. Peaceful. Happy. THEN … instant chaos out of nowhere. But when we remember who our Father is … those days don’t last long.

Today is your day. Today is my day. Today … we stand together to build the Kingdom.

Be blessed today my friends.

***For creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. – Romans 8:20-21
