"For he remembers that we are dust." – Ecclesiastes 3:20
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." – Ecclesiastes 3:1

Life is so brief, and the gift of time seems to fly by, doesn’t it? One moment, we’re taking our first steps, and the next, we’re watching our grandkids do the same! Before you know it, we're looking back on decades of memories. Ecclesiastes reminds us of life’s fleeting nature: we are dust, and like the wind, our days are but a breath. This realization isn’t meant to leave us somber, but rather, grateful for the time we have.

God has given us seasons in life—moments to grow, to learn, to love, and to leave a lasting impact. The passing of time is a gentle reminder to cherish each moment, to live with purpose, and to leave behind a legacy of faith. Just as the wind leaves traces of its presence, so too can our lives leave an eternal imprint when we live for His glory.

Today is my 63rd birthday and as I reflect on how God has been good and faithful through every season, I praise Him! Did it all go the way I wish it had? No! There are those who have walked out of my life that I miss dearly, but I know God has a plan in everything! The time He’s given me is a gift, and the time yet to come is an opportunity to continue shining His light and sharing His joy. I don't know how much more time I have left in this life, but I look forward to serving Him while I'm here, no matter what!

Have a great day, and as always, let others see Jesus in you!
