Morning, March 17th
Read: 1 Corinthians 1: 30-31
Jesus is what makes us righteous, holy, and saved. Let's break down those words from church. Righteousness (or Justification) is being able to justified in front of God through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour, and the forgiveness of our passed sins.
Holiness (or sanctification) is a person's personality, and actions, and attitude that reflects the glory, and holiness of Jesus Christ, and the ongoing process of being cleansed of sin.
Redemption (or glorification) is the gift of freedom that comes at the second coming of Jesus Christ to this world to deliver us from the presence of all sin. That, my dear friend in Jesus, is what we call amazing grace.
Prayer
How can I thank you for giving me Jesus, wise and kind Father? Your love in coming up with the plan to send Him, your sacrifice in making Him human, and your pain when one of your own creations killed Him are too amazing to understand. But I know in my heart that you did these things out of your loving grace, and I want to thank you and praise you for the rest of my life. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
