Thought Of The Day...
In our journey of faith we are engaged in spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to distract, discourage, and deceive us. But there is no need to fear because in Christ we are equipped for victory. God has provided us with spiritual armor to stand against the schemes of the devil. We are called to put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. To engage in spiritual warfare, we must be vigilant, watchful, and prayerful. We rely on God’s strength and guidance, knowing that the battle belongs to him. Our weapons are not of the world, but they are powerful and effective through God to pull down strongholds.
As we navigate spiritual warfare, let’s stand firm in the truth, unyielding in righteousness and steadfast in faith. Let’s immerse ourselves in God’s Word, allowing it to guide and protect us. In every battle may our prayers be fervent and our trust unwavering.
Prayer...
Heavenly Father, we come to you with humble hearts, seeking your strength and guidance for the spiritual battle we face. Your Word in Ephesians 6:11 reminds us to put on the full armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the devil's schemes. We ask for your mighty hand to strengthen us in this battle, to help us stand firm in your truth, righteousness, faith, and Word. Give us discernment to recognize and resist the enemy’s tactics. May your Spirit guide us in every step we take. We pray for victory over all the forces of darkness that seek to harm us. Help us to trust in you and not be afraid, for you are our refuge and strength. Give us courage and perseverance to fight this battle with faith and hope, knowing that in the end, you have already won the war. Thank you, mighty God, for hearing our prayers and being our ever-present help. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
