Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

I definitely live in Indiana. Yesterday I left work in a t-shirt. Bedtime was a storm that rattled the house. Looked at the weather today … 95 percent chance of snow. Menopause at its finest.

Have you ever been in a storm cell where you were not sure if you were going to be able to go the distance you needed to go without falling down? The wind was so fierce that you had to walk all bent over to just stay balanced? Or you were in a building where the wind was hitting so hard you were not sure the building was going to stay standing? I am sure that most of us have at some point in life.

Last night we had a strong storm come through the area. The sky started like the grey-developing of an old polaroid picture. Then out of nowhere, it was here. The foundation of my old house taking a beating. Then…just as quickly as it hit…it was done. Calm as an evening breeze at sunset. It was quite wild.

In the midst of that storm and the final rain drop hitting the house, I thought of our storms. How they spring up on us? How we are all bent over trying to stay balanced in the wind? How we are just trying to make it through in one piece? How they end as suddenly as they start?

You know, there is One who does not have that issue with storms. He is a pretty strong character. His name is Jesus. He slept through on a boat without issue. He stood in the middle of one and took a stroll on the top of the water. He was not all bent over managing the wind, he took it on eyes front. Almost like a dare. The best part of this is that when we are in our storms, if we call on Him to calm our storm, he will act like the Great Wall of China to reduce the winds that have come to blow us over.

I encourage you to seek Him out and let him help you through this storm you are in. Before you know it, the storm will be over and you will be looking around to see what happened?

Be blessed today my friends.

***Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:10
