It is another early morning for me. Earlier than my normal day. I will be glad to get back to by normal shift. Call me spoiled. Haha.
Today we have the follow up appointment with my mom after her episode with her blood pressure…a week ago. Praying that the new medicine is going well.
I watched a video on social media yesterday that really struck home. If you get a chance, look up The Bible Teacher; he has some very direct lessons. Back to yesterday, I watched one of his videos and it was God talking to someone and told them that they were going to watch a movie of their life. God turns on the move and it lasts only 17 minutes. The person he was talking to asked why it was only 17 minutes. God explained that after the Cross, all his sin was washed away and this is what was left. The person stood there before God in awe … then realized that he only gave 17 minutes of his life to the one who saved him.
Think about that today. If you were to watch a movie about your life today, how long would it be? Makes a person stop and think about their choices. About their walk. About their fire. This video made me think…and think hard. One thing it helped me with is being mindful of my choices.
I share this with you today, not as a ‘gotcha’, but more of a reminder that He is always with us, and we cannot hide anything from him. As you reflect on your walk today, the enemy will attempt to use your past against you, bind and send him away, and look at how you can improve … moving forward.
