Ever wonder why older people are thin and weak? Because they don’t exercise. They give up.

A fitness instructor told me that older people think it’s all about their heart so they do a bit of cardio. That’s good, but their muscle mass is decreasing every decade and if they don’t use their muscles, they will lose it. Lifting weights is what they should be doing.

It’s common sense.

I stretch every day to maintain flexibility. I lift weights three times a week to stay strong and I do biting drills for cardio.

From a Christian perspective, wet must exercise because if we don’t take care of the body God gave us, it’s like a slap in the face to the Lord.
